Hehehe... @TOFluv welcome to the ark!
Maybe your case is more similar to that of @Afaz77 who had a ghost update following his IP2 in the 24-27 Oct bracket. I believe he called up CIC and found out his file has been approved but just the mail formality remains :) Suggest you do the same and get some relief your way as well...
Yes.. I guess the situation is same.[/QUOTE]

Wow! I am amazed how do you guys remember cases so well?? I fail to keep a track.

Lol...its anything but a hypothesis...80% in 6 month is something IRCC tells you. If you actually take data from last 2 years and see how many months have recorded 80% processing in 180 days... I think we all will be surprised.

From what @cansha posts every week, aor months reach 60-70% in their 6th month.

@cansha correct me if I am wrong.
As I mentioned earlier...93% completion for April 2017 to march 2018 year.
Besides no one has the actual data other then IRCC

I know, this thread is just lovely. Feels very positive and supportive :D Yup, I'm pretty sure I know what company you are talking about ;) Well, actually, I'm in a similar situation as you. It's my boyfriend's PPR I'm waiting for. I'm actually a Canadian citizen already :)
Great to know you people! I am happy I will have some assistance in my job hunt when I am there :p

93% probably is the Total Decisions / Total Application in the 12 month period based on monthly application and release of visa data released by IRCC on its website.

But what we have understand here is that it a rolling calculation i.e. whether 80% cases applied in Apr 2017 got decisioned by Sep 2017 and so forth. For example; out of 100 cases filed in Apr 17, 10 may have been approved in May 17, 15 in Jun 17, 17 in July 17, 18 in Aug 17, 20 in Sep 17. In this example 80% cases are decisioned in 6 months and 20% beyond 6 months period for the month of April 17. At the same some portion of the May 17 applications would also be there in the subsequent months of Jun 17 till Sep 17.

Actually we need trail data of each case's progression to ascertain this which is unfortunately only with IRCC. Hope I haven't made it very complicated than it already is.

Right now the only close to precise data available in this context is on immitracker which we should consider as a fair sample for interpretation purpose. And I think @cansha is doing a great job in sharing these data insights.

Thanks!! So 80 per cent of applications were processed within six months in 93 % of the cases in the time period April 2017 to March 2018. Any math heads that can figure out what percentage that were actually processed in that period then? :p:cool: Or isn't there enough data to tell? :p:confused:
Till then...lets expect the best out of IRCC and follow the "being positive and motivational" trend..this thread is well-known for it...

Looking at the link, I guess we have no choice but to believe what they have formally quoted on the website.

In my opinion it means 93% of the cases were processed within 6 months time frame.

Yeah, definitely!! Gotta stick together and help each other  Where are you heading to/living? We're aiming for either Victoria or Toronto :p
Don't know yet. I was thinking I research about good job prospects in my NOC 0124 and then move.
