Hello,
My AOR date is 24th Oct, my medical got clear on 23rd Nov. Now my application status does not change.
Review of Eligibility- We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Background check says- Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

What does this mean? and how long this can take? if anyone can suggest, it would be of great help.
Thanks a lot.
You are in IP1 stage....
Stages explained below:
NA1 - "Not Applicable" 1: Background check says "Not Applicable", usually right after submission.

MEP - Medicals passed: review of medical results changes from "You do not need a medical exam." to "You have passed the medical exam."

IP1 - "In progress" 1: Background check changes to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check." Usually follows MEP. Some applicants (especially inland and CEC) skip this stage.

NA2 - "Not Applicable" 2: Background check changes to "Not Applicable" again after IP1. Some applicants skip this stage and it is easily missed.

IP2 - "In progress" 2: Background check changes to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

NA3 - "Not Applicable" 3: Background check changes to "Not Applicable" again after IP2 (uncommon)

Ghost update - When you log in, the application says it's been "updated" but none of the fields have changed. Often considered a sign that PPR is coming soon. Not seen by all applicants.

PPR - Passport request: IRCC sends "Ready for visa" e-mail asking you to submit your documents to your visa office so they can issue your CoPR and entry visa if applicable.

CoPR - Confirmation of Permanent Residence: A document that says you've been approved for permanent residence.

Oh, i thought they have made this processing faster than before. I got to know that there are people who got their PPR within 60 days of their AOR dates.
These might be Canada Inland cases or exceptions, on an average its 4 to 6 months.

Hello friends,

i have just submitted my application, my ITA (FSW) was received in October.

My application says "Review of medical results You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes."

I have already conducted my medical exam in October and it was sent out by the doctor on October 19. Does that mean i spent money for nothing :D?
Think you are in the wrong thread mate ;)

Hello, based on what i observed for CEC is usually 45-100 days, but of course, it still depends on a lot of factors (VO handling your case, Visa office, etc.) and it is just my observation from the groups that I follow here. :)

I saw this group: CEC August 2018 Applicants

https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/cec-august-2018-applicants.579012/

Maybe you can learn from them too. :)

funnily enough fsw-inland or cec-inland takes more time on average.

There is recently a case of cec-inland who got it in 2 months though.

Someone even got it in 40 days with AOR oct 10 i believe. But that is an exception

Each case is being handled differently, lets sit tight and wait for processing in the average timelines, lets not worry about it if our documents are clear.
