How long until Processing starts

I am currently trying to apply under the family class common law class applying outside of Canada. I got notification 6 weeks ago that my application package was delivered to the Sydney address in Canada. I have still not heard anything about my application. How long does it take for the processing to start and when should I be worried something has gone wrong?

You won't hear anything until 8-10 weeks after the application is received by IRCC. So no - you shouldn't be worried. What you're experiencing is normal.
