December 12th, 2017 applicant. We received a DM on both sides on Ecas this morning and hours later an e-mail with landing appointment in Calgary on November 29th. So happy to be done with this!
Hey post when you get your PR card as we got ours very quickly, I am trying to see if it was an anomaly or if it's Calgary. Congratulations :)

I’m just wondering if anyone here:
Does cic has requested you employer info about you though mail? I saw in another forum that because their employer failed to answer the info requested in the mail the application was delayed.

At this point I’m thinking about all the possibilities.
No not for spousal sponsorship

For those who have landed and are still waiting for their PR card to arrive.. It seem like another offer has been put on the table by Canada Post to hopefully temporary end the strike until Feb 2019.

I hope the postal strike can really end soon so it will allow us to be able to get our card to home and visit family :( #Christmasisnotruinedyet
The strike didn't effect the receiving of our PR card.

Dec 7th applicant. Eligibility passed last month as well as we received AIP. There was a delay due to my child who isn’t being sponsored at the moment. I got my medical in June but I only got hers in oct. had the medical done and submitted last Friday, checked my account this morning and it says “decision made” am I waiting for any other steps or just for an interview date? If waiting on the date how long after DM is it usually sent?
You are waiting on a landing appointment, each office is different.

Did mine at a law firm worst thing ever I paid up over $9000 and they cause me to be stuck for 15 months
I can say to new comers AVOID them , I'm going to write to the association and make complain because the lawyer retired just afteri retained him n he never said anything I just ask for him one day n she said he's retired!! And leave his secretary to do it , she made tons of mistakes n cause my file to return, she charge me 500 to get my son extension n charge me 100, and make some mistakes and withdrew my file in April, 8 months into the process, no wonder my file was sent for further assessment, and cause me to not even get my OWP. People need to run from that lawfirm.
Hi.
I’m sorry for your bad experience with your lawyer. We did our application ourselves. However, it was sent yesterday for further assessment. Do you know how much longer it takes once it’s in further assessment?

After 20 months .I received my landing appointment December 6 Edmonton... Soooo Happy!!!!!!
I knew my case It will take longer than the normal processing time.
I received my AIP and Sponsor Approval last August, and today Landing Appointment letter . I never received Decision letter and my ECAS still in process.
For everybody still waiting , be patient and contact CIC and the MP .
I will post my experience after landing..!
After receiving my Landing appointment letter yesterday, ECAS changes to Decision Made today . There is not logical order. so close to finish this process.

Hi everybody!

I would like to say many thanks to everyone that helped me and keep helping a lot of people here in this forum.

Your support and information is really important during this whole year of waiting for this dramatic process that is the Spouse Sponsorship application. I know that it's easier for some people(including me) and it's being really frustrating for so many others, but the group helps a lot.

I just became Permanent Resident last Tuesday, November 20.
Our interview was in Etobicoke and it was pretty fast. We waited for about 50 minutes but the interview was less than 5 minutes.

There were just basic questions like:
- Address confirmation
- Check if the my personal info was correct in the COPR(Confirmation of Permanent Residence)
- Last entry date in Canada
- If I was convicted in Canada or any other country
