I have also changed my address after submitting the online interest form, but I have precautionary explained in the cover letter about my address change with utility bills (for both address) . I am from Ontario.
I should have done that in the cover letter.
I called around and found out that in BC, ICBC can print a record of driver's license address history. So hopefully, that will be sufficient.

I can't believe I am asking this here... It's likely answered a million times but I am in panic...
Thanks for Canada Post strike!! I am not sure if my mail will arrive in 25 days... (missed 5 days when my hubby didn't check his email.. agghhh)

In the additional document email, I only get the option to mail it to a PO box.
Is there other ways to submit the requested document?
Can I use myCIC? Do I need to create GCKey? I only have the XF number and not AOR yet. Can I still link them?
I tried the webform but can't find a place to upload attachment.

Required Documents CPC-M-PGP

Hi All,

I am new to this forum. I don't actually know whom I can ask question to. but I have little problem. I have applied to PGP-2018 2nd one and I got letter saying;

A current, completed and dated Financial Evaluation for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship (IMM 5768) completed by you, the sponsor, and co-signer if applicable, bearing all required signatures.

I looked at it and I feel like I didn't put N/A at couple of places and missed date. so, I finished it and forward it to the email address. Lately, I realised that the form has been updated at the IRCC website. I proof read the form and it was just one correction by them. now I am worried because the form has already been sent. Do I need to resend the form or call customer service? Any expert advise on it ?

Hello Members, what is the timeline to get the AOR or any email from the IRCC AFTER SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION.
I submitted my Application on 5th October 2018 and still waiting for AOR.

Do we have the 2018 application tracker where i can enter my name and track other applications.?

You should be able to send your documents via FedEx. I'd call them or go to local FedEx office to confirm that they can deliver to a PO Box.

As for GCKey/MyCIC (they are different, but essentially the same), you might as well create one if you haven't done so. You can try linking it to your account using the temp file number excluding the leading "X". The place to upload forms via webform shows up at the very end. There's no place for uploading documents on the form itself. But, it will ask you "if you would like to upload files" as the last step.

Check the spreadsheet to "estimate" the timeline (see link below).

As of right now, people who sent their applications in August are receiving AORs. So, you still have quite a few people ahead of you.

Hi all,
We applied to sponsor my dad and my mom from Egypt and our application was received on May 16th ,2018
We completed medicals on november 7th,2018 and ecas showed medical received november 14th . I tried to call cic today to check my status the automated msg said“ we don‘t need interview, nor fingerprints, we passed medicals, background check not yet started , (WE NEED a digital document to process ur file we sent for you regarding this document as far as i understood)“
First we didn‘t receive this e mail yet so could it be a matter of time?

Second,Can anyone clarify this last statement for me? Could it be the police check? And what if my parents are in canada right now ? How could they complete it while they are in canada?
Thank you

First of all, this is not an "expert advise". If you want expert advise, you might want to look into hiring an immigration consultant or a lawyer. We share our knowledge here based on our own experiences with CIC.

I'm still not quite clear on what you said. My understanding is that CIC sent you an email requesting IMM 5768 to be sent again, as it is missing some information. You corrected it and sent it back. But, after you proof read it, you found that:

1) CIC made only one correction
2) You found another error

If it is "1", then I would not worry about it as you have provided all the information CIC requested. It's up to them to use the information appropriately. However, if you think your application will be negatively impacted by this apparent oversight by CIC, you might want to contact them to have it corrected as per the latest IMM 5768 you provided.

If it is "2", then fill out the form again and send it via email or IRCC webform.

Hmmm, I felt like I just wrote some nested loops and switch case statements in C. :p

I can't link it... I tried 5 times of all combinations.... And I don't know what is wrong... @_@
I guess I will call Fedex.

Go login to MyCIC/GCKey. You should see something there. I would not use automated message to check status. Call CIC and wait until you hear options. Then press 2, 1, 3, 0 (in that order). Keep trying if they say they could not transfer you to an agent. I usually get through on my 3rd or 4rth call. Be prepared to wait for about 20 - to 45 min.

Agent can give you more details answer on what the letter was about and perhaps send it again if it has been sent already.

That's probably the best idea. If you are having problem linking your application to MyCIC, call CIC and press 2,1,3,0 (those are options) without having to wait to hear the options. It will get you transferred to an agent. An agent can help you link it to MyCIC. It could be a number of things that could go wrong in linking to MyCiC. In my case, CIC took my mom whole name as her "first" name. No wonder I was not able to link it until CIC agent told me what the problem was.

Thank you for your explanation. I send the original form ( completed, dated and signed) rather then the updated one. If I resend the updated form, does it negatively effect my application? or delay my application?

I used up the 5 tries on linking the app today.

I will try to call tomorrow to see if call center can help me to link it.
Called both Fedex and UPS and both said they do not ship to PO BOX.
So hubby is out sending it via Canada... Post... Express... :(

If you sent the "completed" form, you do not need to send it again. As I said before, the only reason why you would want to send it again is to ensure that CIC is using correct information when they assess your eligibility. If the mistake is not going to disqualify you as a sponsor, I don't think it's a big issue. Your application could be delayed because they obviously have to wait for the document to be updated and reviewed again. But, there are quite a few people on spreadsheet that have additional documents requested by CIC and got their applications processed faster than mine. So, there is no telling whether this would cause any delay in processing your application.

I used Fedex before and they were able to deliver my application package in Ottawa last April
