Ha ha ha ... dang ... Now I'm feeling under pressure

Anyways I think after so much wait we definitely need a good party .. so it will happen in next year ... We need someone to setup a group once everyone here gets PPR.

No pressure mate...be delighted...the party will happen..

I would really want the group to happen...I have seen a lot of people go silent post PPR. It may be a momentary silence...but I really wish we see each other in person and make this bond stronger. With 430+ applicants in June alone, we will be no shorter of a community.

@absad there is no specific pattern but my analysis is a little different from @tobs. Once you are in ip2 there are 3 things remaining. Criminality, Security and final moving of eligibility met to eligibility passed.

Criminality usually is pretty straightforward, checking of PCC. The lesser long stays at different countries the quicker it is. After Criminality the file may or may not move to another VO for a security check, that eats a lot of time.

After this is the visa officer finally passing your eligibility and approving yoir file.

Its still not over, recent trend suggest VOs are holding files after approval too. There has been a delay just in sending the PPR email. No one knows why.

People who have completed ip2 since 2nd week of october are still waiting. They know thier file is approved but there is nothing they can do.

Thanks mate. I think it will cross 180 days coz I will be completing 180 days on 14th December. If the security and rest takes time, my PPR seems quite long way.

Yeah true many people have been silent after their PPR. I guess they are busy in other challenges post PPR. That is why it would be important to form a group away from this forum once everyone gets PPR. And I hope people come back once to know there is a group

Unless you have had extensive travel history or too many ADRs or some issue with details you have submitted. I would be very positive on that 180 days timeline.

Btw. Yours is 14th mine is 17th.

GCMS notes can relieve you from this anxiety. Though I was told all processes have been completed on 5th November (got ghost update), I am going to order GCMS notes today and I am hoping this may notify them that only PPR is left in my application. By the way I think next week we may see flurry of PPRs as that would be the last week of the sixth month from Aor for June 1st week applications.

I ordered on Friday and my request was filed with IRCC today! Lets hope this brings my file back in action.

How do you know Ralph's In process/in progress = Met/recommended pass?

While I’m not completely certain that in process means you are clear, I have seen Ralph mails with “in process - review required” so it’s either different wordings or we are in a slightly better spot.

Hey @B. B. and @lavanya31 some hope for folks like us! Managed to get through to a super helpful agent, indeed a veritable angel called Aria. Try IRCC today, seems a good day to get through. Called 4 times, and managed to sneak in past the mean voice that says 'All our agents are busy. Please check your status online or call another time' after 25 minutes of wait time on my fourth attempt.

Nothing new to add on the application progress though! She said it all looks good and the eligibility is almost passed. As soon as it is passed formally by the VO, the background check will resume she said. I pressed her to confirm if that means security will start, and she was a bit wary, but finally said yes, background check resuming SHOULD lead to security starting. Whew! Feels reassuring to hear these words from someone sitting in Canada. Also, looks like application is still in Ottawa and not transferred out elsewhere. Dunno whether that's a good or bad thing though...some say Ottawa is a faster office wrt processing applications, while others (like us stuck there) are not so sure eh...

Mmmm.. this mean that security will start after the VO passed the eligabilty...
Which mean more time to wait??

Ours will arrive... eventually... although I feel I’m better off waiting for when my 6 months are due than having false hopes, we are almost there anyway, and I find hard to believe that the other 20% that exceeds the 6 months timeline are all here in the forum

Hope you hear something in 6 months as most of the 20% that didn't receive it are most likely on this forum. I've completed 6 months already and it is frustrating having to wait in IP2 while I have already spent 141 days in IP1.

Given the speed of IRCC ... It won't be just 20% candidates from June in > 6 months timeline .. It could be 40-45%
