You don't need Biometrics.
It's for applicants with AOR from July 31 onwards.
Starting December 31st, 2018 it will be required for Asia, Asia-Pacific and Americas applicants as well.
I ordered my GCMS notes on October 18 and as per the turn around times, I expected to receive them today. Unfortunately, I haven't yet.
1) Do we receive the GCMS notes via mail or email ?
2) Is there a way to track them ?
I am sure this would have been mentioned quite a few times on the forum but just wanted to make sure. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

[EDIT] On the site it says "when you submit a new application for a visitor visa, study or work permit or for permanent residence", so I am not sure if it would apply to us. Really hope so.
That's if you submit your application from December 31.
Biometrics was required for Africa from July 31 but I'm not required to give my biometrics because I submitted my application before July 31.
This thread finally crossed 200 pages! Looks more active than before.
I found out this by checking the VSF site here in Brazil. The site itself is very confusing. But thanks for your input.
