Italian with ESTA for Usa going to Canada

Hello,

I'm Italian visiting USA with an ESTA. My 90 days permit expires on the 15th of December.
I'm going to Canada by bus on the 1st of December (without Canadian visa since I don't need it). I'd like to know if I can take a plane from Canada back to Europe after the 15th of December (or if I have to leave before my Usa ESTA expires).

Once you have left the USA and made sure that you have handed back any required documents to CBP, your ESTA is irrelevant. The default admission to Canada is for 6 months.
Contrary to the belief of many of us Europeans, Canada is not (yet) the 51st state.

You don’t need a Canadian visa but you need an ETA—different from an ESTA.

I was actually quite surprised the first time I went to Canada of the fact that you don't need a visa to enter by bus through the Usa border!

Do you mean that entering Canada from Usa without any kind of visa I could stay there up to 6 months?

6 months is standard but not a guarantee. CBSA can give you as little or as much time as they want.
