I have finally achieved my goal with the French language. My score now is 477 (was 437), without French it would be as low as 426. It took me a bit less than two years from a zero start. So yes, it's possible to conquer this system even if your age is that of a dinosaur.
I feel like dinosaur in this forum too, been here from the start of 2017, have seen a lot. Got my ITA in "the funny days", accidentally lost it, and tried to regain it ever since.
I belong to a group of so-called realists in this forum. The realist position is well defined, for example, by @vensak in her countless posts, I can only stand by it. My two cents: do not hope that points will ever drop (even if it might happen) and do all that you can to earn points, learn other languages. This is useful not just for getting ITA, ahead lies even more serious competition once you are in Canada.
Life's good at upper 400 !!! It was hard to even dream about it, but here it is. Always sunny, warm and plenty of martinis :) I hope and wish that all of you could experience this feeling of joy.

Application filled on 2 nd November 2018 waiting hopefully for ITA in the next draw in November 18.
For all of us folks who are hopefully and prayerfully waiting to make a cut in the 104th draw, why not form a whatsapp group to help address each other's concerns and apprehensions? Possibly on telegram since WhatsApp doesn't permit more than 250 members? What say?

Congrats!! Bravo!
I agree... French always will be a good way to increase CRS. It´s never to late to start lessons. ;)

Thanks for the reply. On a completely different note, why is is everyone so eager to relocate to Canada as if it is the ultimate heaven on earth? I read some rather depressing views about the life in Canada in 1 forum that has got me worried and wanting to reconsider if the relocation is actually the right thing to do.

https://backcountrycanadatravel.com/why-moving-to-canada-is-a-bad-idea/
On a positive note, these type of write-ups can bring the cut off lower if lesser people apply for Canada PR after reading this! :)

I am confused about the time of the draws. 11:20 UTC, 12:05 UTC etc. Even in Sydney, NS that seems to be 7-20 am, 8 am, isn't it too early? Do they work night shifts or what? Or my calculation is wrong?

Hello, guys I just have a question

I started working for my company from jan 2017 until now as it is my current job.
I started initially as technical support rep (NOC 2282) and in this year July 2018 they made be do both technical support and customer service as Dual role agent. What I put as my job title? My core will be technical support with customer service
technical support will be NOC 2282 and Customer service will be 6314 both fall under NOC B category. Your suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Based on these numbers can anyone predict the next CRS cut-off score ?

And as the draw is going to be after 16 days, can we expect the score to go up from 442 ?
