10 months starting from SS. At least that's what I hear the average wait time to be.

I wonder if my current GCMS note will contain more than 4 activities. Any progress is better than no progress.
Yeah same here. That's the trend that I've noticed as well. So more or less we should get the re-med request either in December or January. My file was assigned for SS in March this year.

And your GCMS notes shouldn't have more than 4 security related activities. 4 is the maximum it goes or at least that's what I've seen.

Here is the copy of letter
“We are pleased to inform you that you, your spouse and dependants can now receive free pre-arrival services funded by the Government of Canada. These services are available before you arrive and are meant to better prepare you for life in Canada.
Pre-arrival services are provided on behalf of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) by settlement service provider organizations. These service providers offer free information to help you with:
• Living and working in Canada;
• Getting your education, work experience, and professional licenses and
certificates recognized in Canada;
• Connecting with employers, and with free supports when you arrive in Canada,
including language training; and
• Connecting with others in your new community, including French-speaking
communities.
If you are outside Canada, we strongly recommend that you use pre-arrival services before you leave. We encourage you to explore the list of services on the IRCC website: canada.ca/pre-arrival-services. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/newcomers/before-services.asp?utm_source=slash-pre-arriv al-services&utm_medium=short-url&utm_campaign=general
When you register for pre-arrival services with one of the service providers listed on the website, you will be asked to provide a copy of this letter. You can contact as many service providers as you like and receive as many services as you need, and these services are always at no cost to you.
You are also encouraged to take advantage of free Government of Canada resources
available online, such as Welcome to Canada, the official handbook to help permanent
residents prepare to come and settle in Canada. The handbook is available at
cic.gc.ca/publications.
Canada is a bilingual country where both English and French are spoken. If you are interested in living in a French-speaking community outside Quebec, please visit

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada”
I didn't receive any pre arrival ? But my file is stuck in background check after interview. I think this is issued by IRCC not LVO

Lool yeah man that's all I'm thinking at the moment. By the way is it 9-12 months from when the file is assign for SS or when CBSA starts the security check. So far no one has been able to answer this question :D:D. But the trend that I have seen is 10-11 months from the IP2 date.
I calculated 9-12 months when your background check changes to ip2.
I did order GCMS notes but it didnt reveal much except for 5 security activities. I was close to ordering CBSA notes when I got the re medical request. I would also like to add that there is a security screening excel sheet by Irfan which predicted my PPR date.. accurate by two days.

Yeah I used the sheet as well and it predicted December for me. But the reason why I can't solely rely on it is because I applied through a solicitor so I don't have a clue as to when my status changed to IP2. I passed my eligibility on 18/12/17 and then my file was sent for security on 14/03/18. So if I use March as my IP2 date then according to irfan's sheet it'll be December when I should get my remed request.

@Reykhan
So i received gcms notes, and only 2 changes:

1) Medical status changed from Passed to not started
2) secondary visa office change, again! It seems every couple of month they update this to a different visa office :D

Hey bro, On your first point, it's quite bizarre that it saying not started. Usually it just says passed - expired. About your 2nd point I don't have any clue as to why they keep updating your secondary visa office. Mine has been the same since I ordered my first set of GCMS notes back in March.

On the CBSA notes medical showed passed- expired, but on GCMS it shows not started now after it was passed before. I don’t mind them changing the secondary office every now and then, I’m going to be optimistic and say that it means someone’s checking on the application :p

I finally received my GCMS notes for EE application, which went into security screening. As per notes, I finally had 7 activities related to security. Unfortunately everything except the 'type' and 'name' related to these activities has been blanked out. But now at least we know that for those who are stuck in security screening, you should see at least 7 activities related to security (CBSA and CSIS).

Hello @syedahraza, do you mean 7 Security Screening activity or 6 SS activity + 1 Security activity. Thanks.

Hi Raza bhai. Will it be possible for you to attach the screenshots of how your Security looks like here? I have too been put in SS since end of June.

Hlo everyone
I am 6 April 2018 FSW -O ,VO-Ottawa applicant from India and Eligibility,Criminality,Infosharing ,Security etc was fully passed on 18 May 18

But my spouse back ground checks which are delaying our case as per recent Gcms notes
My spouse Security is ongoing (started on 18 Sept 18) ,(3 Activities are blank 12,13 14 before security activity no-15) and s(15)1 on top of page???,criminality -Not started
Info sharing -completed on 18 sept 18(it took 4 months to clear bcoz of Usa visitor visa refusal,S(15)1on corner )

My question is that does it looks like my spouse is in Security screening or it is normal to have 3 blank activities and s(15)1
How can one know that he is in Security screening??and i am unable to find answer for this from anywhere??
How much time it can take to get our ppr.
Thanks and regards
