Application for renewal of pr card I stupidly forgot a document it was stamped july 12th they sent application back Oct 9th with letter sent back resigned with documents which they received Oct 19th flying January 19th our card expires 17th...will we have new card back in time. I marked urgent and includedglight payment and times.

If the PR card arrived after you leave, you can have a friend or family member courier the card to where you are going.

You certainly CAN leave Canada by air without a PR card. People do it all the time. I've done it myself.

Is it not true that they can deny you because your pr card is invalid and not good for returning.

Who told you this was it the airline ? Did you check with the airline ?

There is no requirement to have a valid PR to leave Canada, only to return.

My PR card was couriered to me by FedEx.

We would be returning Feb 2nd what if card stiil not ready as there seems to be no gaurantee. Then the problem gets bigger . Feel like we may have to cancel trip or lose more money waiting. Is there anyone at cic that can actuallly give real information. Thanks

You have 4 options.
1) apply for a PRTD once you reach your destination.
2) hope your PR card is ready to courier to you. If it is not, then 1 or 3 apply.
3) return via the USA land border in private transportation.
4) abandon the trip.
