Hi Guys,

I’m an Indian National living in AU.

My ITA was 9th May and My AOR was 1st June 2018.

Medicals got done on 14th June 2018 and the background checked started on the 15th October 2018.

I checked my Junk Mail and my inbox for PPR but nothing yet. My csr score was / is 478.

Any leads or updates will be appreciated!
I am 16 October IP2. Guess our VO is slow.

Hi All,
I moved to ip2 on oct 26th
My Aor June 18th
Is there any possibility for rejection now.
Maintain the positivity. I think rejection can happen at any stage but if you are confident that there is no gross issues in the profile then it will all be fine and this is vetted by the fact that you have moved to IP2.

I have similar timelines which is as under:
AOR: 25 June 18
MEP: 10 July 18
ADR - 1st: 12 July 18; submitted on the same day
ADR - 2nd: 24 July 18; submitted 30 July 18
IP 1: Assuming to be from 12 July 18
GCMS - 1st: 01 Aug 18; received 01 Se 18
ADR: 03 Aug 18 status changed to Not Applicable
CIC Call: Called CIC agent at 4 PM Ottawa Time. Agent couldn't add much value except for that Eligibility is MET and needs to be passed.
Update: 27 Oct 18 Morning status changed from Submitted to Updated
BG processing: 27 Oct 18 evening status changed to "We are processing your background check"

@pooja jaiswal @CoolSandy @harsha6269 @ishq74 @Love_canada@4321 @Venki7 - I was checking with an IT friend of mine and he feels that one of the possible reasons for us not getting our PPR email could be that the mail server was on maintenance and queue was cleared without the emails being sent out. Coz it’s the whole batch of us who’ve been missed out.

Do we all call IRCC now or each of us raise CSEs? What do you suggest?
I think its better to call them first to see what's going on with our files.. I am. Planning to call on Monday and will let you know my status..
Good luck to all of us.. Can't be cheerful these days bcoz of their apathy towards us

Have a top up question from the forum members if anyone can add value to the point.

Timeline:
AOR: 25 June 18
MEP: 10 July 18
ADR - 1st: 12 July 18; submitted on the same day
ADR - 2nd: 24 July 18; submitted 30 July 18
IP 1: Assuming to be from 12 July 18

CIC Call: Called CIC agent at 4 PM Ottawa Time. Agent couldn't add much value except for that Eligibility is MET and needs to be passed.
Update: 27 Oct 18 Morning status changed from Submitted to Updated but no change in any sub categories
BG processing: 27 Oct 18 evening status changed to "We are processing your background check"

As per above timeline
1. Should we consider the Update to be a Ghost update and expect the PPR mail in few days?
2. Does such ghost updates even happen before the file moves to IP2? I am considering that now the BG has started so my file has moved to IP2. In this scenario my wait should be longer than the 1st scenario.

Patience is the key. Do not panic and things will fall into place in the best ways possible.

I cannot vouch for the authenticity of the information. That’s what has been put up on the Canadian Government website - so there has to be some degree of truth to it maybe, Sensei?

The link I shared is the Government’s website.
There are 2 acts under which you can request for GCMS notes through ATIP.
1. Access to information act
2. Privacy Act
Requests made under access to information act are free of charge while it costs $5 if request is being made under privacy act.
