They said it will be done of this months . Ortherwise i have to call them back . Everything it looks good. I hope you will get AIP soon .

All eleven months I was so calm, process 12 months ok, we will wait.
But now I am so unpatient waiting for landing interview, and after wait for PR card noone knows for how long, I want so much to visit my parents at last. More than one year I could not leave Canada for meet my family, so unfairly. Why they dont allow us travel abroad at least for couple weeks?

Everything that we can do now - to think positively guys and try to distruct ourselves from all this stress

So the MP office contacted us yesterday (took a week)

Not really what we wanted to hear but...She mentioned that our file was transferred to Edmonton in April for farther assessment, (after medicals I am assuming). She confirmed what the CIC self-serve agent told me in August, that it could take up to a year (6 months more to go).

They wouldn't tell her more, so we finally ordered the GCMS notes, we'll know what really is going on.

We thought our application was straightforward, (no crimes, been in canada other than Mexico) no Status but according to them that doesn't affect an application, who knows, but oh boy, they do know how to test people's patience.

Has anybody else experienced something similar within 2017 up to now?

I am a July 25th 2017 applicant.
I'm wondering what they wanted to check further. I hope you'll hear from them before the year ends.

HI anyone,
Became PR on the 21st Jan 2007 the left Canada.
My PR expired in 2016. My husband and son in Canada. I am in and out with my visitors visa.To obtain my visitor visa I had to renounced my PR.
Now My husband had submitted sponsorship
From 2007 till 2012 I was working. MY question is
once I get my new PR what will happen to my pervious CPP diduction?
And will that 5 years burn? Do I have to start all over again?
Thank you
amry

I am in Edmonton Alberta, file was transferred to Vancouver from Mississauga in March or end of February, then file was sent to Edmonton in April.

Where are you located?
