Hello, Can you please tell how to inform CIC about your vacations? Did you send them your ticket as well?
And if we get chance to reschedule test otherwise?
I informed through Web form. I didn't submit tickets. Just mentioned the travel and return dates. I got an automatic acknowledgement immediately and then got another reply after about two weeks telling that the message is passed to the processing office.

I got a letter from CIC saying 'You have an appointment: on so so date and time'.

Now I am confuse, is that appointment for test or for interview only ? Friends, could you please share, what they write in the test invitation ? I am confuse and stressed. Thanks in advance.

I like to add that I applied in March 2018 and my process started on 9 July and after that today 23 October I got this letter saying I have and appointment.

There must be more. It doesn’t explain what you are coming in for? If it’s the test date it should tell you. Does it tell you to bring anything? Where are you applying from and where exactly are you going for the appointment?

Thanks Soso23, I copy and pasted the things they ask me to bring. I live in Calgary and applied here.

Please bring all of these items to your appointment:

 This document (on your phone, or printed out)

 Two pieces of personal identification. One must have your photograph and signature (for example: driver’s licence, health card, passport, permanent resident card)

 All original versions of the documents you provided with your citizenship application:

 Permanent resident card and Immigration Record of Landing, if you ever received them

 All original passports and travel documents that you have (current and expired)

I want to say it might be a test invite but it should say something st the very beginning like this:

Sir/Madam,

The purpose of this notice is to invite you to your Canadian Citizenship Test.

The date, time and details of your appointment are attached to this email.

· Please read the attached notice carefully to verify the date/time of your appointment

· Please do not arrive more than 1 hour prior to your scheduled Citizenship Test due to the high amount of client volume in the check-in/waiting area.

It doesn’t say the purpose of the notice?

If you got it in email. Look for the attachment to your email. Looks like its test invite.

Do you think if one has changed many addresses in the eligibility period, for example 15 and those were listed in the application...that can cause a substantial amount of delay in processing of application, background checks etc?
