Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2018

Hi everyone,

We have submitted medical and pcc 2 wks ago and we haven’t heard anything yet. Is this normal? My deadline for submission is October 28. Im not really sure if they have received pcc coz i only sent a copy thru email response from their request email they sent me. I couldn’t even link the application to my cic account using sign in partner i tried a thousand times. Pls help ty

We are in same boat. We submitted those requirements as of manila immigration requested, through email 2 weeks ago now. And no response yet from them. My deadline is until Oct 24th only. Medical results already recieved. On oct 15th I received email from immigration reminder,to complete my mom examin for 60 days. She do examin for sputum and Need to wait until January 2019 for another xray.

Hi Today I got email from cIC that my application for parent sponsorship is incomplete.

"The marriage certificate provided for the Sponsor and Co-signer does not meet the requirement for processing. A photocopy of the original certificate is missing. A photocopy of the original marriage certificate, along with a certified translation, should be provided"

I have already provided certified photocopy of Original Certificate alongwith photocopy of government (NADRA) issued english translated marriage certificate.

Any advised.

Hi @oliveoyl , yea they are i the Philippines currently. Did they send you the letter online or was it snail mail? They will do the 3 day sputum test, I guess I will ask my parents to ask the doctors too, maybe they will know something. After the three days it will take 9 weeks for them to culture it, so it will most certainly not make the deadline. I am just not sure if that is something that they already know or if i'm the one who has to contact them. I would expect a letter letting me know about the delay at least but I have not received anything.

Btw did your MyCIC account ever got updated after the initial medical?

Their emailed mentioned to get in touch with the PP where the detailed medical formation has been sent via emedical.
I am also not sure that they automatically know that certain tests take time and you don't have to do anything about it.
In my case because I got the New Delhi Medical Office email which is a do-not-reply email, I am going to email Ottawa because that is the LVO or use the webform for providing the update.

MyCIC account for me has no updates .
Yes, thanks for the moral support. I hope we both get through this.
Not sure what they are checking for your dad, but I know someone who has consistent acute COPD having gotten PR just one year ago. So let's keep everything crossed.

I am the representative for them too so I am not sure why I haven't gotten anything from CIC yet. As for my dad, they did an x-ray and said they saw a couple of small spots so they want to make sure its not Tuberculosis - just not sure what other exams they will do after if it comes back negative or if this the only test he'll have to do, u know?!. He'll be 80 in a few months so the added stress to him and my mother is driving me even more crazy.

This constant wait and worry has been so overwhelming to say the least so I understand what you're going through.

No Not talking about ECAS status. ECAS still showing Decision made under "Sponsorship Application Status" & for Applicant its showing "In Process". I am asking about online application status does any message should appear under messages ?
