True.. they are on strike! Luckily they delivered my PR card ladt Friday.

Did anyone else notice the processing date went backwards? When I called on October 11th the automated message said they were processing applications received before JULY 5th, but on October 17th it said JUNE 19th and now today it says JUNE 28th? My application was sent on October 2nd, so I know there's no way it has been opened yet - I'm just concerned that the processing date seems to go backwards before it goes forwards.

Yes I noticed same thing it was July 11th with 75 processing days then suddenly it went back to June 19 with 109 days. it doesn't make sense.
and some members who applied in mid July or end of July they are getting AORs.

I'm really hoping its just an error and it should be saying JULY 28th instead of June. Fingers crossed it's just a mix up and things are still progressing at a steady rate. We have travel booked for December 18th, but at this stage it looks like we'll have to cancel. This process is so long and tedious - it's beyond frustrating.

Going to a family trip, booked for December 12th. I sent in my application August 23rd, so hopefully that's enough time

Any update?
I have been sitting on "In Process" since Oct 11th. Called IRCC yesterday and the agent just gave me the details that I see on ecas. My file seems to be just sitting there. IRCC needs to revamp this whole process - ridiculous!
