We got moved from CP Sydney to CP M today. Medical is next week, hoping this goes quick from here!
June 29th application, US born husband, Canadian born wife, outland, no children. Got SA October 3rd, AOR October 3rd, Medical request October 2nd. Just waiting on the BCG and the PPR!

AOR1: July 11th

Med request: July 13th

SA: July 17th

AOR2: July 24th (email said application will be processed in Mississauga)

Medical completed: July 27th

Medical passed: July 31st

BGC started: September 4th

PPR: September 5th

We mailed everything on September 11th to our local visa office as requested but no COPR yet. BGC still says in progress and no final decision yet but when I log into the other one (Not GCKEY, can't remember what it's called?) it shows 'decision made' under the PA's name.

i got a message saying my file was transferred to LA in May, and haven't heard anything since then either,
and FYI i am a december applicant

I passed the background check on September 25 but I’m still waiting on eligibility check, it seems like they’re only working on applicants from India now. How about you??

I’m still waiting for elegility check too. I got the AOR on may 9.

Regarding the country specific requirement. I could see that if the birth is registered late we need to provide voter id card and old school records.

Hi i was wondering if you could help, what do you mean by app sent. (Was it for the sponsor alone( the Application to sponsor, sponsorhip evaluation and relationship questionare) ? Or all of the requiremtns both sponsor and all the forms needed from the Principal applicant

We got our meds request message today too! (we noticed that on gc key it switched to "we are reviewing the results of your medical etc" yesterday). We were supposed to be Sydney VO but go the Mississauga email on Aug 29

Hi, i was wondering if you guys could help me out. My husband just send the Following documents by mail, and was already recieved. ( we knew thru the tracking number from courier) but no update from CIC:
1.Application to sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking (IMM 1344)
2. Sponsorship Evaluation and Reltionship Questionare (IMM 5532)
3. Document Checklist
4. Receipt ( for the payment for thw application to sponsor)

We followed these steps according to a friend who had also done the same.

He passed this and then after a month he recieved an approval for eligibility and after that his wife(principal applicant) passed her papers accordingly as stated in the mail that CIC sent her. Everything went by smoothly and she went to canada after passing her PR application 4 months later.

London, which is notoriously slow with everything. However, just got an update in GCKEY today - decision made, COPR is in the mail! Now I'll just be desperately waiting for the post man every day. Usually I try to take the dogs for a walk when the postman comes because they go crazy barking at him and drive me nuts. But now I'll be watching out the window for him!
