Hello, I called today to CIC, after calling 15 times I finally able to connect and got the same reply of wait only.
They can't provide much more details as the application timeline is 12 months.
So just wait wait wait and wait. But today I got some new information.
I sent my file to Mississauga office and they received on 6th July, then they sent it to Sydney and Sydney office got it on 16th of July.
That's all. But still I passed 2.5 months and by the next week will complete 3 months but still have to WAIT .......
Hope Best thing will come soon.......

Guys, for SA approval, will the sponsor receive any confirmation mail?
I see in my ECAS the sponsorship application status as 'Decision made', but no mails or communications received.

Congratulations. The sponsor will soon receive the SA email. It's really for formality though. The sponsor is already approved if, on GCKey, the first line is saying that they are reviewing the PA's eligibility already.

Congrats!! After receiving medical request on Oct 2nd, there is no movement in my application. Waiting where they would send the application.

Just received SA approval this morning....
Timeline:
July 26- Application Received
Oct 9- AOR and SA around 9am
Oct 9- Medical Request around 4pm
Oct 12- Transfer to mississauga for PA's PR
Oct 17- Schedule for Medical in Phils.

We have been waiting for so long, (since 3rd July) and just got our AOR1 this afternoon after more than 100 days of silence!!!
I don't know if it was the call I made to them exactly one week ago today. The Agent said that it was very strange that our file was still waiting to be processed and that she would send an email to chase it up.
We're both so relieved.
So, now I can worry instead whether I'll get SA.
I would really recommend to anyone waiting from early July to contine phoning them until you get through to an Agent...
