ANOTHER news I just linked my GCKEY( with my LOGIN then PA's info downwards) as well today, let you know that I was getting errors , NOT FOUND, too many tries etc etc. until this evening. I guess it takes a day or 2 after 1 gets AOR1. Both screen readings are the same; on my GCKEY and Spouses got the same. I am also authorized rep of spouse imm5476
EDIT:__ ONLY 1 guy either SPONSOR or PA can stay linked to same app number.

Im so thrilled for you. I am also July 19th but nothing yet ERG. I have tried 26 times (yes I actually counted my phone history) over the past month to get in touch with the CIC outside Canada line and have not once been able to get through to an agent .

Send it to Sydney. They should’ve given you a list that you missed out on. Complete everything on the list that is highlighted and send it to the address provided which should’ve been Sydney.

Same thing happened to me.

Hi, I had my documents returned to me as well. But I resubmitted to the sydney office also.

How long did it take you to receive the AOR1?

Aha!! 28 time is the charm! I FINALLY got through to a lovely agent. My file received July 19th. She said they were through to July 24th at the moment, and since mine is before that date she will send the agent working on my file an email to basically hurry up ha. Also got a temp file number. Apparently there were way more applicants in July than most months.

There's been an issue with application received on July 3,6,9, and 11. Most applications received on those days are taking longer than usual. I don't really know why as well.

Thanks I spoke to an agent and got my file number well with and X in front so hope that means I will get something soon. Thank you this is an awesome forum for information good to know so many people can relate to the process. Happy I stumbled across it.

Nous sommes tous dans cette situation présentement. La transition de traitement des demandes de Mississauga vers Sydney en plus des demandes d'asiles et l'immigration illégale doivent avoir un impact certain. En ce qui me concerne, la demande aurait été vérifiée une première fois et enregistrée dans leur système selon l'agent à qui j'ai parlé. Ils n'ont tout simplement pas encore commencé à traiter le dossier. Certains appliquants de fin Juin continue de recevoir leur AR1 depuis quelques jours également.

Haha, that makes sense since the new biometric requirements kicked in on August 1st.
That's at least the reason I hurried up and got it in on July 30th. Who would have known that it might have been faster to just go get the biometrics done and send in in August...

It was a mix of reasons why there were more July applicants than usual. I think the three primary reasons are due to these:

• New forms available in June
• Move from CPC-M to CPC-S
• Upcoming biometrics requirement

The first two delayed what would have been June applicants and the last one, as K0nsumHure mentioned, made people hurry with their application submissions.
