Hi Can_loves_Aus, on your timeline is states July 10th 'both sides in process as per ECAS'. Does this mean that CIC is looking at your eligibility since then? or that the application is in process?
Thanks!
I’m pretty sure it just means that the application is in process.
Both sides have shown in process in my ECAS since June, and they’re still processing my background check :)

Hi guys, I submitted my application on January, and passed medical exam on May, then started th background check at the end of May. Now the background check is still ongoing, it said we are reviewing the additional documents you provide (schedule A), we are processing your background checking. It has been more than 4 or 5 moths, is it normally waiting such a long period for background checking?
Yes, it’s normal. Mine has been processing background check since June :)

Hi!

We are married Canadian US doing an inbound application with OWP. We have been married 4+ years and living in the US until recently. Has made for sending taxes and notices of assessments impossible, but we included all of our US stuff. Anyone else here have a similar situation?

Application sent Sept 27
Received in Missisauga Sept 27

Thanks

My wife and I got a job, purchased a car and insurance, changed addresses, changed bank accounts, and I’m on my wife’s private insurance policy also. Do I need to submit new evidences to cic?

Hey!
The Ecas at that time changed from "received" to "in process". I'm not sure what this change meant... ecas seems to do different things for diff people!
They have not started reviewing eligibility as per CIC, but background check is in process
Hoping in the next month we will have some movement! fingers crossed.
Will keep you all posted!

I submitted my application for inland spousal sponsorship on Jan 23rd...
Received a letter from CIC stating that we have started processing your application on Feb 23rd
Request for PCC was received on Mar 6
Received by CIC on April 10th
Medical Request recieved on July 11th
Medical test done on July 19th

After that my online account says medical tests received and it shows in process.

I hold valid work permit and trv which are valid until 26th July 2018. I wanted to travel in December ... I'm not sure how long would be the wait time... as I see oct, nov and dec 2017 applicants receiving something from CIC.

Hello Good morning.
I am a May applicant and we have received the medical request from the immigration.

My husband is the sponsor and im the pricipal applicant.
Cic gave us the pdf file only with my name, the principal applicant.

Does it mean that the medical is just requested for me and my husband, the sponsor, a canadian citizen doesnt need to take the medical exam?
We are a little confused.

Thank you for your inputs.

Hi, thanks for creating this thread.

I applied with my bf inland. The application package was sent by Canada Post and received on Aug 17. However, it is already 12 Oct. We still did not receive any AOR from CIC. Is it normal? Anyone else here have a similar situation? I am so worried about this...

The medical request is only for the applicant not the sponsor.
