My husband applied for his visitor visa from the London canadian embassy on 1.9.18 via online.
His status have not changed even after 6 weeks. I am a british citizen and do not need a visa just the ETA.
The processing time stated 28days on their website and when we call the phone number that's on the CIC website to check the status and it says it takes 83days to complete processing.
We just want to know which one is correct as it's kind of misleading the applicants.
My husband has travelled to few other countries and we never had a similar issue and we are really disappointed and stressed that we have to drop all our holiday plans.
Did anyone experience the same thing? Any advise would be appreciated.
