hi everybody,
I m due to land in st john’s nfld as a PR next week but i ll be at work in Italy till the very last day, i know the answers to my questions are somewhere on the forum but i don t have time to go through everythig so...!

1 i m visa exempt with a valid eta on my passport, when i board the plane i italy do i present the copr or just the passport as i have always done?

2 once i arrive i just show up at immigration with my copr and passpor correct?

3 i know i can t board a plane back to canada (in case i leave) as a pr without the actual card pr prtd, but what if i just use my passport with the eta?

4 i wont bring any cash but i ll move my money over on my canadian account through a wire transfer, do i have to declare it?

5 i ll bring two pieces of luggage with me with just personal items and some work related stuff (i m a paramedic) including some medical gear (stetoscope, trauma shears, medical bag all inside checkd luggage of course) do i need to declare anything or fill forms in?

6 once i land at the airport am i eligible to work from the day after?

Thanks

3. The eTA may or may not still be valid. Don't rely on it and obtain a PRTD to travel instead, if you don't have your PR card.

4. Wire transfer does not need to be declared.

6. Go to Service Canada to obtain a SIN. You will need it to take up employment, even if you are able to work without restrictions.
