Dear All,

If I have a visitor visa, what are the possible ways to get a permanent Resident? how long will it take?

if my spouse is a Canadian citizen will it make a difference?

Start by reading through this link below, processing time up to 12 months for spouse sponsorship .No difference in processing time if spouse is a citizen.

Seems like it is you and your husband returning to Canada. Did your husband declare that he was married to a Canadian on his TRV. If he didn't it is misrepresentation and can cause lots of problems.
