Yes once the border officials are done with formalities, they will apply for your pr card.
 
I got copr for me and my wife both. But on spouse copr her country of residence is mentioned is India where as she is residing in Canada from last 1 year.
 
i send my passport to ottawa and received by sep 26...not approved yet..anyone else in same situation

I got a PPR on October 01, 2018 and I sent my passport to Ottawa today.

Congrats! That was so fast I just sent my passport to Ottawa today. Where did you do your landing? Did IRCC send you any instructions for landing?
