I'm not sure... I mean, at the end she told us she was convinced our relationship was real but that other ppl need to sign off on it, she didn't have the authority. She told me we'd hear back Friday past or this coming Wednesday.... I'm so nervous and tired of overthinking everything

In our case, to him, the nature of our relationship... just to make sure our relationship is real. It's different for every couple... how well do you know each other, your families, where do i work, how much do i earn, why didn't we stay living together when we were in honduras, etc. why did we take so long to apply

@Joron @lynncita did either of you hear anything back? Mexico Vo is proving really frustrating and the fact that June 2018 applicants from India are already getting PPR while Mexico can’t even finish with Oct-Nov-Dec applicants is maddening!

I'm an Oct 2017 applicant, close to 365 days here and I just received AOR2 a month back. Haven't seen BGC or applicant eligibility passed yet. Thinking it's about time to call my MP.

OMG!!! That's so frustrating! I don't understand why they're so slow.
I've read almost all the threads of 2017-2018 and there're always less than 10 applicants per thead who have Mexico as VO. And even though we're few it takes a lot of time.

I'm just hoping the fact that I got AOR2 now doesn't mean they're juussst getting around to starting my file, they received it back in Feb

I just got some very bad news that might apply to other Latin America applicants, apparently background check process has not even started, so I am told by my MP's office that the application will be another year in processing... I applied in Oct 2017. Visa office is Mexico city.

Don't let this discourage you too much. My background check didn't show as started until 2 days before decision made, then a day later PPR. Keep encouraged!

I don't understand what does this mean? i have to wait a whole year for 50% of the application to be completed?
