How to transfer money from India to canada

I want to transfer around 200000 cad from India to Canada to purchase new house.can someone guide me to do so.any one has the same experience plz share his experience. My bank account in India is with state bank of India

I have bank account in canada with rbc and doing my transport buisness from last three years.presently living in vancuvour

Provide your name, RBC branch address, account number, RBC Swift Code to your bank in India. Instruct it to wire the money into your RBC account. It would be the best if you can exchange the money into Canadian dollar at your bank in India, Canadian bank has terrible exchange rate.

One of the problems you might run into is that your India bank would want you to sign the transfer order in person. If that is the case, you can give the money to a family member that still live in India and have he/she wire the money to you.
