Most likely not possible. To change your status to a work permit, you have to find an employer willing to give you a job offer and that employer must also obtain an approved LMIA - which is a 4-5 month process. The vast majority of employers are not willing to go through the LMIA process. You should assume you will not be successful in finding a job and changing your status to work permit.
