heard from a bro saying that if during bgc they ask for addtional doc regarding your research or your cv, it means you are under security screen, they did not ask for it to verify whether you should get screened, they ask for it because you are already in the process. Anyone care to comment on that? @legalfalcon, you are the expert, what do you think?

So I called CIC today to ask again. A nice lady helped me out but the responses I got for my application weren't encouraging. She said, they are still determining eligibility, securtiy and crimanilty hasn't started yet. According to legalfalcon, the R10 is when I updated the additional documents on June 8th. So, technically I am not a may applicant? (my AOR is 21st). I am CEC inland. Now I am really concerned that I have waited so long and there's no signs of progress. Does it take that long for eligibility check?

My background check status was 'in progress' the whole time from 4 June till 27 September. Might have been because I needed to submit a police certificate after the main application.
I am stuck in a similar situation. My AOR is 31st May and I had a ADR for Spouse's PCC. My status has been IP1 since June 12th.

You may be in NA2. But it is too early for you to worry about anything. It's just one month post AOR.

Oh same mate, however what does your status say on Additional Document? Mine says: Not applicable- it was updated straight away after uploading my documents, pCc for my wife too.

I called CIC today and was helped by a wonderful person. I paid my RPRF fee on June 19th and never received any confirmation. She confirmed that things are looking good and I just have to wait for correspondence from CIC.
