today is my birthday and i made the mistake of telling someone that i wished that people in this forum will search their questions and not be lazy before asking the same question that was posted just two messages before..... now its not gonna come true :(
Happy birthday Aarti ! :) It is somehow better to rather watch most of this madness than take part in it :D:D Hats off to the patient members who answer to the same stupid questions all the time :) I hope your wish comes true :p

Cheers!

hahahahaah thanks! i know im not alone with this

Its still the same- in progress.it wont change until they stamp the visas on the passport. which i have submitted this morning at vfs office in Lagos.
Congrats. Was your BGC "are processing" at AOR, before changing to "in progress" later?

It's perfectly normal, in fact it's known to speed up the process in the same way ordering gcms notes speeds up the process.
I'm sorry. You meant checking cic everyday may speed up the process? Did you mean it as a joke?

Yes , he do it all the time :p If you are an active member of this forum, you would realize he is too much into sarcasm. :D:D
This whole PR waiting time is a vicious circle , you get deeper and deeper into the maze of anxiety. The only way out is to understand the system and how it has been working from last few years since its inception . Notifications from IRCC won't land into your mailbox like a gift on Christmas morning. There is an associated time line as well as time lag due to unprecedented traffic of applications. So every time you open your browser you are not going to get lucky because of your frequent searches. :p You would just end up fueling your own madness and obsession for this process.
I too have started checking my account more frequently, but I would treat myself with introspection :p :D . I suggest this to all my fellow dreamers.
Its still not too late to get back to normalcy as this PR process is beyond our control and would take place at its own sweet pace.
@navinball You should start adding cautions to your posts , people read the text for its merit. :p
Cheers!

You put it nicely about our state of mind, my friend. Would give you 2 likes if possible.

Hi, thanks for this post. can u pls advice if all applications are sent to local visa office? if that is the case would that mean the processing times of applications would vary given the work load at a particular LVO? thanks

YEs, all application go to LVO before they are finalized. The eligibility and security can happen in any office, but for finalization, its the LVO and that is from where your PPR is issued. this is why slow officers like NDVO, London etc. see considerable delays.
