Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Hello, it’s better po kung hingi kayo ng advice sa immigration consultant kasi mas extensive po ung knowledge nila about sa situation nyo at ma-guide kayo sa anong dapat nyong gawin. Plan nyo po ba mag-apply sa Phils? Yung sakin po kasi, working po ako sa Sg at nag-apply sa Sg but got refused. So ang advice po ng consultant sakin is to re-apply sa Phils either regular stream or SDS pero nag SDS po ako. Wala din po akong properties pero fully paid po ang 1yr tuition ko at may GIC cert po ako from Scotiabank. Na-guide po ako ng tama ng consultant ko at nagsubmit ng proper documents needed for SDS application. Below is my timeline po.

Feb 9 - submitted application in school
March 12 - received my LOA
May 3 - applied SP in Singapore under regular stream
June 8 - received my refusal
June 23 - went home to the Phils
June 26 - purchased GIC and got it after 1wk
July 13 - online application was submitted thru SDS
August 10 - approval

My niece is in Saudi. She wants to enroll under Student direct stream. How can she apply in the Philippines while she is in Saudi?

Actually, I read backwards na dito sa thread hoping that same question has already been asked and answered but there are 800 plus pages na ....so, hope you understand.

That would mean na for the time being during the visa application process since passport has to be submitted together with other documentsd, my niece won't have her passport with her in Saudi. Hello there!! How many percent here na ng apply through sa sariling praan or sariling lkad ng paper at online lng ang gnmit to get there own visa as international students!! Pilipino din po aq n nsa taiwan den i wonder where I should go kc may pinoy care dto den they provide a service which is you have to pay a lot of money...pwd po bng sarilihin any po n mkksgt ay salmt n marami!!

ako po sariling sikap ang pag aaply, kahapon lang po sa vfs makati. sds paper based po ako, walang consultant. bale binasa ko lang po yung mga information na nasa website ng cic. tapos yung ibang info mga nakuha ko lang dito sa forum. ang ginawa ko po ay sinundan ko lahat ng instructions na nasa website ng cic, at hingi lang ng clarifications from this forum kapag may hindi malinaw sa akin.

very straighforward naman po yung process kaya pwede naman walang consultant. dito po sa forum meron mga na deny na gumamit ng consultants at meron na approve na hindi dumaan ng consultants. kaya depende po sa applicant kung approvable or hindi.

sa paper based po, kailangan ng vfs yung original passport. sa online po, scanned copy lang at hintay ng instruction from immigration when and how to submit passport for counterfoil. ang bayad sa application ay online for both paper based at online application. attach all pertinent supporting docs, particularly financial at proof of ties sa home country such as properties.

hindi po required ang gic kung regular stream lang po. pero hindi rin po bawal mag open ng gic kahit regular stream lang kasi additional financial proof din po iyon.
