Still waiting for Oath invitation! Completed 13 months and 2 days from the date of application. Interview on 14th August 2018, DM after days!
No clue.... being patient!

I have taken the test June 7th, and I am still waiting for the oath invitation. My DM was online within a few hours after I passed the test..waiting..it is so hard to wait!

DM within 2 days (Was told , will get priority for ceremony as the application has exceeded 12 months! Now 13 months are over)

Yes I did! and got a reply "in due course " although I have complete 13+ months since applied...

Thanks I just got a reply saying the same thing the call centre has been saying all along "You are within your 12 month period" I applied in December 2017

But I am out of the one year processing time limit..... One year is average! not maximum!

Hi Everyone;

Anyone from Toronto or GTA who has applied to citizenship on October 2017 and still waiting for a decision or invitation for oath? I'll appreciate gathering some data to see where I am now. Here is my log:

18 Oct 2017: App sent
20 Oct : App received
5 Jan 2018: AOR
23 Jan : eCAS status changed to "In Process"
11 Apr: Invitation for test
3 May: Tast taken (passed)
..... Still waiting since then

I took my oath on September 18th at 12:30pm in Mississauga. My process is done at last. Good luck to everyone still waiting.

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 23, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canadaon January 17, 2018.
3. We started processing your application on January 28, 2018.
4. We sent you a notice on April 18, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on May 10, 2018 at 8:15 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
5. We sent you a notice on August 24, 2018 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on September 18, 2018 at 12:30 PM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
6. You became a Canadian citizen on September 18, 2018.

The ceremony took about an hour and a half and was quite pleasant.
