From Brazil I was able to reach CIC using Google Hangouts. Calling 1-888-242-2100 failed as well, but 1-613-944-4000 succeeded, and I ended up automatically trasfered to the 1-888-242-2100.

AOR - 18th July .
Application is in IP2 from 26th Aug 2018. I used google hangout to dial *67+16139444000 from US. Tried 4-5 times and finally after waiting for almost 1 hour, call was picked up by an agent . As per the agent , my application went to CIO Sydney NS and my eligibility and Background check is still in progress .

1/I received ppr yesterday ,
The thing is that my wife just left my country of residence the day before .. so what should be done in that case in order to submit our passport .
NB: I have send to London office and cic to inform them about her exit , still queue sure they didn't read my mail
2/Would some one tell me what type of visa I should apply for , and if there are any other detail about this step?

Sending to cic will not accelerate the process .. it only enables you to know what office your file is being processed at ,

@abhi1701 I think our progress is similar. My AOR was July 15th, and Medicals Aug 2nd. CIC is still checking my eligibility, and my BC has not started yet, which I confirmed by the automated response when I called CIC yesterday.
I get a little anxious whenever I see someone with an AOR and/or MED similar to mine receiving the PPR, but at the same time CIC states that the expected processing time is up to 6 months, and only 2 months have passed. So I do not think reaching an agent would make much difference right now.
Yes true. Being patient is a key. I see number of applicants reduced in Aug & Sep based on immitracker statistical reportsMine is about 2 month from MEP (and IP2). Don't worry guys. @cecict & @simple1234 & @harsat
I honestly will be happy if I get my PPR by the end of 2018. Anything sooner than that, I would consider it as luck (and I am not usually lucky) !
So, hopefully, CIC will process our applications. All the best !
