I'm opting to apply for study permit. One of the original financial documents is in local language and attested. I know I'd need its translation to attach along. But my question is, since original document is attested, would there be a need of attestation for translated one as well?

Yes with the stamp of translator as to it being as it's translation of original. Also notarize it, if possible
