Ray of Hope - 99th Draw

Hello Everyone,

I just received my Celpip result and my score jump from 438 to 447. Now, I am going to lose 6 points because of the change in Dob on 1st of October. I am hoping the next draw should be on 19th. What are the chances for the next draw on the 19th of this month? Finger cross.

It should be going to have on on 19th. Even I was stuck 439, I still hope it could happen on 19th; otherwise, the never-go-below-440 “theory” is true for this year ;(

I really appreciate your advice, please. I have received my ITA on 25th June and I have to apply before 24th September. My son was born on the 15th of August. I have submitted all his documents, did his medicals as well but, I am still waiting for his passport to arrive.

I am not sure whether I will receive my son's passport before 24th September.

Can I send my application without my son's passport? Is there any chance that the case officer will reject my application? What should I do? Please advice.

Don’t worry mate. I am sure they’ll have a draw on 19th.

Even if they don’t have one, u have a great chance with 441 points. So just chill. Get ur documents ready :)

Hope u r in India

When did u apply for his pp? It doesn’t take more than a week to get a minor’s pp,especially newborn. I got my daughter’s PP in a day.

If u haven’t received after a week or more, contact your Passport Officer and explain the situation. Definitely he will help.

it clearly says,
To be considered under the Federal Skilled Worker Program:

Your work experience must have been full-time (or the equivalent in part-time hours), worked continuously and paid, for at least one year in the same occupation.

An internship is different since its part of the study program.

Thanks for response. I am hoping CIC throw back to back draw. I was stuck at 438 since January and was expecting to get down, but at last, thought to reappear the exam and improve the score. I hope this is the last time to write the exam. I just went through last few draws and found there was a gap in May and January, that's why I am a bit worried.

Thanks. Even I am hoping so but I checked this year draw and found two times, it breaks the two one week gap draw, I am hoping, that they continue the upcoming draw in the similar fashion.
