For those who wants to change job after nomination :

My friend just got nomination yesterday under EDS IG food service supervisor , he called AINP today and asked if he can change the job or not , AINP said you can change your job but it needs to be same NOC and same position, I mean you can change it to somewhere else but you have to maintain food service supervisor position,
His timeline
Application sent - November 30 2017
File number - 10 January 2018
EDS IG food service supervisor NOC 6311
Document request - augest 21 2018
They just asked for 3 previous payslip, no phone call to him or employer
Nomination received - augest 23 2018
Hope this will help you guys
Does this apply to post graduate work permit applicants. So, if I get promoted from a NOC C to a NOC B job-I have to reject the promotion, in order to stay in the same NOC?

If you plan applying for AOS , your job must be the same NOC for 2 years if you are applying tru the job experience stream...as long as you can get the required years of continuous employment in this new job then you shouldn’t have a problem...
Post graduate work permit holders only need 6 months work experience to apply for AINP. So,you are saying for two years we are not allowed to get promoted and move to a new NOC? Don't we simply just inform them we move to another job in a different NOC?

He also has post graduation open work permit, when he called AINP the exact words were “ we do not suggest you to change job , but if you have to change it then you can but it needs to be the food service supervisor position, you can change the employer “ . Still you can call and ask them about your case, i was also planning to change my job but I’m waiting for AINP and my friend got it so i asked him to call AINP, I’ll call once again when I’ll receive my nomination
I also heard similar but not the same regarding postgraduate work permit holders - they must be working in the field they studied. Previously, one could be eligible if one was working in any field no matter of the field they studied. So, it falls same line that the NOC/profession should stay same statement.

Post graduate experience needs 6 months experience in the last 18 months ...this is really important point ...not just 6 months experience but it should be in the recent 18 months ...also needs to be same NOC..

Yeah. That's very correct. It has to be same noc code last 18 months. If peoope were a student, they must make 6 months working experience and must hold Alberta license if the position is required some specific license.

No, I don’t have any updates! How do you think, can I call?
I think you can call. But I am not sure if that helps or not as they say they will not provide status updates or such thing. Then we see a lot of people calling and getting updates as posted here i.e. assigned to officer etc. Hence, you may get those updates. Who knows!

What are chances for PGWP holder from other provinces to get PR in Alberta ?
I think you can as you have been employed and working in Alberta - work experience, can't you? I bet you have an excellent earning contract here in the discipline you graduated from other provinces.

You must send the letter which included ur new employer contact information like address, phone number, email address. Plus, you must keep same noc code and put ur file number. And then send it with tracking number.

Can I change my job/noc after I am nominated and submitted to federal?
