Hello everyone,
Congratulations to everyone approved!

Please add me to spreadsheet:

Name: Karina
Parents country of residence: Kazakhstan
Application submitted with Canada Post: May 6
Application received in Ottawa: May 10 ( according to ECAS)
=> AOR letter and ECAS status changed on July 24th
Approved as sponsor letter received: August 21st
=> ECAS status is still not updated
File is transferred to Warsaw, Poland for further processing

Question#1: my Mom and Dad traveled a lot for work ( monthly trips to China) Obviously non of us can for sure recall dates of the trips and other details. Also old passports are changed and they did not keep the copies. I am worried that they will request travel history. Any advice?

Question#2: my sister is 17 years old and is listed as dependent. She will graduate from high school and plans to start university. Is there any requirement for her to maintain dependent status?

Question#2: Mom and sister have only Russian citizenship (no Kazakhstan citizenship), but none of them actually lived in Russia for more than 6 month. Dad has Kazakhstan citizenship. In theory we don't need to get police clearance certificate from Russia, but it migh look odd ? On the other side of I we get Russian police certificate, it will raise questions because they did not live in Russia for more than 6 month. Any advice?

Thank you in advance for your help!
Good luck to everyone :)
Hopefully, process goes fast, liberals want to get votes for upcoming election!

Hi all, What color pen should the paperwork be signed in? Blue or Black? Also is there a specific order that forms should be organized to be sent?

I just received an email from CIC. It says "Your application has been accepted under the intake cap for 2018." and then under that it says "important information about using a representative" and it explains they need representative form but I have already included that. Should I send that again?

No, you don't need to.. as you indicated you already submitted along with complete package.
It's just there if someone forgot to attach :)

1) this is tricky and I am not sure about the remedy. The only thing you can do I guess is make a list with approximate dates if requested by IRCC.
2) Not get married before landing.
3) PCC not needed from Russia as less then 6 months. IRCC already has their russian passport copy so its not a secret and you have given details of their last 10 year residences in sch A form.

When did you link the application, after AOR, or after SA?
Did you create two MyCIC account, one for yourself, one for you parent?
Did you use your information to find the sponsor application and link it to your MyCIC account, and use your parent's information to find the PR application and link it to your parent's MyCIC account?

Thanks a lot!
My mum already had an account but i made one for myself and linked it to mine after i got AOR and to hers after SA,I used my information to link it

Actually i just checked and the information is no longer available on my account, so it seems you can only link it to one account > i will leaveit linked to my parents account so they can request what they need from them

Hello All,
I have few questions about parents PR process. We applied in May 2018 and got selected now file moved to local visa office. My parents are with us in Canada under super visa. CIC website shows the status as PROCESSING.
1>When do local visa office request police clearance and medical?
2> Can I get both police/medical report before the local visa office request?
3>So far CIC contacted via email, will the local visa office will use regular mail or email for further notification about the case?
4>Will my parents be able to travel between Canada and home country while PR in process? Still my parents super visa is valid for 10 years.

Thanks all.
