RCMP Check abroad

I have applied under CEC and have since returned to the UK as my work permit expired. I just had an RCMP request sent to me, has anybody had experience of getting it done in the UK or elsewhere abroad?

From what I understand I need an accredited company to do this for me, but I can't have my fingerprints taken in Canada now. Not sure what the cheapest and simplest way of getting it done is now.
