yes, it's in an outland application .. unless your wife was here in Canada and then you would apply through inland application, not sure if your file would still land in London Visa Office or would get processed here in Canada.

regardless, follow the checklist and procedure shown on the website .. if you get stuck anywhere, feel free to search the thread/forum for similar questions or ask away here ..

How helpful is it to request ATIP? can it have a negative impact on your case? to request it.

I am an October 2017 applicant. Has your file been transferred to LVO? I was asked for Schedule-A and Police Certificates back in November 2017 and the file was transferred to LVO in January 2018, since then no updates.

We were asked for medical only in Nov 2017, then we got notice that our file is being sent to London Visa Office in Dec 2017, since then nothing. No request for certificates or Schedule A.

I will be planning to get married in December 2018. I live in Canada but girl live in Karachi, Pakistan. Our plan is to go for Umrah first and perform our Nikkah there for more blessings. My question is with you all who know more knowledge about the spouse visa. Can I perform Nikkah in Saudia Arabia and come back to Pakistan and setup function for Nikkah in Karachi and take lot's of photos as a evidence? Do we need to register our marriage in Karachi? Is there any issue if we perform Nikkah there?

Please provide me all the details. I really appreciate it.

Hello,

thou your intentions are pious, but I would advice you NOT to do that. Just get married in Karachi, make a nikkah nama in karachi, do mehendi barat+rukhsati and walima all three functions in Karachi and then afterwards, go to perform Umrah and then come back, compile all the evidence as well as photos of your umrah and casual hangouts togather in saudia, This will solidify your case. If you do it the other way you will make your case much more complicated.

I would advise against trying to get documentation from 2 countries involved......keep it simple and do everything in 1 country.
Check the CIC website for info/details on sponsoring family member.

1- Client Information: Please explain why you waited almost three years between your engagement and your marriage.

2- Communication Proof: ( Photos, letters, E-mails, Phone Bills), between you and your sponsor. The record of communication are not sufficient to demonstrate that you are in marriage. Please also explain why you communicate in English when you share a common first language.

Could you all please bring your inputs which will help us tackle these queries? Senior members are appreciated if they can put light into answering these questions

1. Tell them exactly why did you wait to get married after 1 year after getting engaged, weather you wanted to finish your study or just take your time with eachother etc. (make sure you provide alot of pictures togather and your whatsapp chat or sms or call records throughout the time of relationship to after marriage.)

2. As I said in 1 provide with alot of picture and communication proof (screen shot of call records, sms, whatsapp, facebook chat etc, show pictures of casual hangouts you guys had and uploaded on fb) Also, for communication in english, idk why would you only communicate only in english, I communicate in english and urdu (and I think that would be the case with you too) but you said you communicate in english and didn't mention urdu atall which is kind of bad.... explain it to them now that you do communicate in urdu too (show them messages sent and received in urdu as well as english) hopefully it'll sort out. Make sure you show them alot of communication proof from the days before engagement, after engagement, during engagement all the way following upto getting married and after, hopefully till now. Also screenshot your public pictures of marriage and hangouts from facebook where close friends and family has commented and reacted towards it.

Hi members. I need an advise. I submitted my application for spouse on June 19 and it's been 2 months since then. I have not received any AOR email or any sort of communication from cpc. Is it normal. Do you guys suggest me to call? If yes how do I check the status.
