I applied for VISA May 19 and since then I have been told to exercise patience. The have not asked for my medical report. All they asked for is that I stay patient. What do I do please??

Hi Abra28, same here! Online application on May 15th. Husband applied for an OWP alongside my application and provided biometrics 2 weeks from that date. I will most likely not be able to start my studies. Deferring is an option but they can't guarantee similar funding for next year so...
I am honestly so disappointed after spending months on the process of admission and then on the study permit/work visa application. I sent an email today as a response to the email they sent earlier. I am really, really hoping that they'll reply and maybe speed up the process so I can still attend (fingers crossed!) .
I seriously should have read more conversation threads and been wise enough not to apply to Canada at all - because at the moment I am seriously fed up with this outcome (=no news). The university also seems uninterested. They are even giving wrong/differing advice. Then I also have to dig for every answer as they don't voluntarily give any proper advice on this situation. Why are they so unwilling to find solutions, when they first were saying how interesting my background is and how suited I would be for the program? I even got an extra scholarship based on merit on top of their funding package. Why are they so unwilling to give proper advice now?
Best of luck with everything. I am hoping you'll get your positive reply soon. Have you contacted your program regarding either a late entry or about a possibility for deferral? I am hoping that one of these 2 options would be possible in your case.
