You are absolutely right, its really annoying and depressing, the authorities must decrease the processing time, otherwise the applicants won't be useful/helpful for the Canada because the are getting old during this process like you lols ;)
Hahaha...well I wont call myself old just because I have crossed 40...there are many success stories that have happened after 50, so 40 is good...my point was about ppl not being able to plan properly. When I first applied I was told that it takes a maximum of one year to go through Quebec...this now looks like a joke :D

Is visa expiry calculated from medical issue date or medicals done date?

What are the chances of getting ppr before medical expiry??

Hi all,

The current processing time is 17 months. This time is from applied date to the date they ask you for the passports. I have been in this group for almost a year now and my experience is some medicals happen early while others late but no one extends the overall processing time. When I first started checking the processing time was 13 months but now they have extended the processing time. So as per the experience, now that I have finished 15 months of the total given time, my remaining process should happen in the next 2 months, provided they don't extend the processing time now. Again, as I said this is what normally happens, cannot guarantee that this will happen in the future too.

Hi...i just noticed a change in date (2018-08-08) on ECAS... Earlier it was some date of december 2017..Is this just an update of ECAS app or anything happening with our files??
