My score for education has increased after receiving ITA and completing the profile.. First my score for education was 119 ( I have a masters degree in India but WES has evaluated it as " one year of graduate study ")but after completion of the form post ITA,when I checked "Preview my score"..my CRS score increased to 456 from 449 which is due to the increase in my score for level of education which jumped from 119 to 126.. Strange thing is that I didnt make any changes in the study section... Can anybody explain this

This is a system Error. Its because post ITA the system calculates the points for education based on what you filled in your degree and not the ECA. E.g if you filled Master's while ECA is 2 or more degree's you will get to see additional 7 points.

Hi
Recently, I have got an ITA under provincial nomination. After completing eAPR questionnaire when I preview my CRS score, it shows 26 points extra which is due to my education. I have a bachelor and a MS degree which is equivalent to a Canadian bachelor degree. In my express entry profile I was given points only for a bachelor degree but after iTA I am getting 26 points for MS. I did not change anything in my application. What should I do? Thanks in advance.

If you read my post above yours you would get the answer.

Facing same issue, confused what to do. I first considered making the "Level of Education" same as "ECA report" . But that may not be the right thing to do as suggested. So did everyone in this thread facing same issue keep the same "level of education" and added this in LOE ? Please follow up

Hi,
Actually, you are right, this seems to be a system error. But I wanted to ask, what did you do next?
Did you change the level of education as per ECA (in Education History), or
You did not make any changes and explained the situation in LOE?

It would be really helpful if you could clear this confusion, I am facing the same situation and don't want to take any risk with my application.

Thanks :)
