Congratulation.

Please share ur experiences.

Were you inland, single Provincial nominee applicant?
Did they ask you to submit additional documents? how many times u extended ur W.P?
Did u change ur province? job during the process? Contacted local MP? and anything which helped a bit?

Congrats again.
> Inland, BC-PNP, Married (Myself principal applicant, spouse/wife as dependent)

> Additional documents (Resume, Schedule A, Details about my jobs, publications, thesis supervisor) was asked on July 19, 2016 for security screening

> Did not change jobs or province in the process

> Contacted local MP in April 2018 (after two years of application submission). The MP's assistant sent an email to enquire the status and CIC reply was the same "In process". It took three more months after their email. Not sure if that enquiry might have helped, but I guess not.

In case you are in security screening, you will just need to wait I guess. I have been calling CIC every two months lately. Every time the answer was the same: "Your applications is in process. We confirm that there is nothing pending on your side. We do not know how long your application might take. Wait few more months and if you do not hear anything, call us back".

yeah I am going through the same process. Wait is killing me, so many things are stagnant as they are dependent on my P.R.

wondering why did they ask for Resume or details about the Job?
Didn't you have an Open work permit? Did u apply for Bridging open work permit?

OP was likely nominated under the BC Post Graduate Category (no job offer) so IRCC probably wants more information. Have seen past cases where IRCC requests the same information as OP due to the fact they had obtained Masters or PHD from universities and applied PNP without any job offers

I am currently living in Canada and did not receive any pre-arrival email. The province of nomination is BC under BC PNP Skills Immigration (International Postgraduate) category.

Hello everyone,

i am a provincial nominee and waiting from over 21 months. I have more than enough points to apply via express entry as well.

Recently i tried to create an express entry profile but system didn't let me and the error was "you already have an online application in process". I called CIC and they told me to submit a web form and file a complaint to technical difficulties.I did and the response from them is

"Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information you provided. Since you already have a Permanent Residence (PR) application
EP------- linked to your online account, the system will not allow to have a second PR application open simultaneously in the same online account.

We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry."

please help if someone has any suggestion.

thanks.

Just received PPR..

Does anyone know how long it takes for them to return the passport? I will be travelling in 5 weeks and it is the worst time for getting PPR after 26 months of wait.. Also obviously I won't be holding a PR card when I come back, even if I can land before my travel. Can I show a document showing I landed and waiting for PR? I have a valid TRV

I just hate every bit of this process. I can not postpone my trip.
Mine took about a month after i shipped it off using 2 days expresspost. My return envelope was also a 2 days expresspost
