Ohh!! You are right!! Around 1800 issued..I missed to scroll down to Jan month :) So basically 50% for HCP only..So I guess there will be around 2k quota left for HCP and they gonna issue around 3000 NOIs..am I right?

Tell me one thing. How OINP decides whom to issue NOI? I mean in Feb they mentioned CRS 433 to 441 but issued only to 500 people..how will they select these 500? Sorry I have no much idea of PNPs

You won't know their selection criteria, just hope for the best
I think they have issued to people who created profile from Jan 18 to Feb 18,Can't expect more than 500 people from 433-441 in that 2 months..I think that was the only other criteria...let me know if om wrong!

I do remember that during that round of NOIs, only profiles created from Jan 2018 were selected so it meant that only 500 profiles were created between CRS 433 to 441 on that time period. If your profile is older, it will not be selected.

So selection criteria is transparent right? Unlike mark mentioned?

they have 4000 more nominations to give which translates to around 6000 NOI's as not everyone will accept the noi. so im guessing they will issue approx 3000 noi to HCP. needs to be seen.

Well, I kind of agree that Desi IELTS examiners are more strict when it comes to grading the speaking test. My husband's English is quite exceptional, but he got 7.5 only, and his examiner was a Pakistani. Whereas, English examiner gave him 8.5.
I agree with you. Couple of times my examiner was the same British lady and she gave me 8.5 on both occasions. However a Filipino/British and an African/British ladies gave me 7.5 and 7.0 respectively in Speaking.

there was a little secret that most folks did not know. oinp only selects profiles created jan 1st on. so even if you had a score of 442 and your profile was created in december you would not be picked. not everyone knows this so the pool for oinp was significantly smaller so 433 to 441 who recreated their profile in jan got a noi.

Was it always the case? Did they invite recent entries in 2017 also? I just want to understand the selection criteria!

I mean, they pick profiles created from 1 January 2018, but more specific criteria like NOC, CRS scores, nationalities, work experience, etc are unclear as per my understanding. There are instances Ontario targeted French speakers only. You will never be sure what they are looking at apart from profile creation date.

You know whats actually really sad? Last year I sat on a 413 score, I got a damn ITA in June, submitted my application and not until Sept I got my application canceled due to one silly missing document. Now been waiting on 438 for well almost another year :(
This is the saddest story I have heard in a long time. Makes me sad hearing it.
