Hi all,

I have CRS score of 429 in Express Entry. I now want to apply for province nomination to get required score for Express Entry.

While exploring, I calculated my eligibility score for Saskatchewan nomination and came across a metric "Trade certification equivalent to journey person status in Saskatchewan" that will give me additional 20 points for eligibility..

Can anyone explain me this? I think this is an exam.

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Thanks for your reply Ashu.

According to the information given on the link you provided, my NOC is not in the list for challenging journey-person exam. I have applied under NOC 2173 (Software Engineer), also I am waiting for Ontario PNP under HCP stream, but it seems there too, I will not get NOI with CRS 429.

What do you think?

Nowadays SINP is become tough day by day. They are introducing new EOI system now. Noc 2173 is regulated in Sask
What about Ontario? I think it is non regulated there.

I also think that it is non-regulated in Ontario. However, for PNP, they still sweep the pool and end up somewhere 433 cut-off for HCP. I think, now it is difficult for me to get through Ontario HCP PNP.

Any chance that I will get NOI from Ontario?

Also, as per current trend, I need additional 15 points to get through cut-off of 441. That's why, I am thinking to pursue a one year certification in my stream from Canada to get additional 15 points for canadian education. After this one year certification, I will end up with 444 score in the pool and hopefully will get an ITA. But it"s costly and time taking :(

According to my understanding, no one can apply for OINP directly. Instead, one should have to wait for Notification of Interest (NOI) from Ontario. Once get the NOI, one can then proceed for PNP to get the nomination.

The best option is , Retake IELTS and go for CLB 9.
Your crs score will increase 20 to 30 points more

Good day,

I am in the process of completing my application for SINP, however, i need some clarification on whether I can claim points for family support in Saskatchewan.

I am not clear on which relationships are included in the category "step-family members / in-laws of the same relationship" In my case I am married, my husband had a grown son before our marriage, he of course is my step-son. He lives in Saskatchewan for over a year, and he is willing to support my application. If i meet all the other eligibility criteria, can I claim points for family support in the province?

I am looking forward to your reply.

The occupation demand list for Saskatchewan is recently update...cant find noc 5241 and my noc 1121
I can only find noc 5241 in Ontario and Manitoba. Unfortunately, I don't have any connections to Manitoba so Ontario seems to be the only hope.

Sucks :(
