November 2017 - Citizenship Applicants

Hi All
My data on row 264 for the Nov 2017 applicants. I know these questions have been asked earlier but grateful if you could help me with these
Just got my finger print request (July 12 2018)from st clair offices. I tried looking at the websites and pretty confused. Please help me
1. Where do i go for RCMP fingerprints service?
2. Does RCMP sends it directly or do i wait for RCMP results and then send them to CIC
3. If I have to send it to CIC, where do I send it? local offices of Sydney
4. Once I get fingerprinted, where do I let CIC know that i have done the fingerprinting so that their 30 day deadline is met
5. How do i know that CIC got my fingerprints?
6. It only came for me and not for my wife. Will it come later or is it typical

I received the same request from St. clair and was only for me not my wife. You will receive a letter. Take it to the nearest RCMP/local police. They will charge u $65 and take your finger prints. If it is normal it comes after a week. They will then call you to collect the results and then you have to mail it to the st.clairs office(it will be specifically mentioned in the letter). But my suggestion is to thoroughly read the letter and follow their instructions.
Got my DM today!!! So excited! No oath invite yet, and no lines after test entry on eCAS, but status has updated.
What a tense waiting period - I stressed about it too much. For all of you in IP, good luck! Wish you all the best - honestly, the week that I told myself I would stop stressing about it and stop checking eCAS every day was the week when my status changed. Mississauga residents breathe easy, I wrote my test on Tuesday and got decision made yesterday and today received email to appear for oath on August 7 in Mississauga.
They have finally picked up as I was not expecting this quick turnaround. Really happy and the wait is over.

Thanks Jayson, I am happy but moreso because I could cheer some of my Mississauagan brothers and sisters. The mood has been quite depressing for some people have been waiting for months. Atleast now they can believe it can change in a few days. Like until June 12 I was in IP without test invite and August 7 I will be Canadian in a matter of 56 days.
