Approximate timeline when applying for TRV from US ?

My wife submitted her TRV application yesterday. On CIC's website, it says decision can come within 10 days if we applied from within the US, which is our case. So by when should my wife expect a call for fingerprints and by when should we expect a decision ?

She could get the BIL in 24-48 hours or sometimes it could take much longer (based on some recent posts on here).

As for the decision, you've been on this site long enough to know that the processing time posted on the IRCC website is only an estimate

Regarding the timing for the decision, I assumed delays probably occurred if you're applying for an underdeveloped country or something, and not when you're applying from within the US. I guess though you're right .. an estimate is just an estimate.

As your wife lives in the US, she could get a decision quickly. But on the other hand, she has recently moved to the US + her application indicates she has ties to Pakistan. So, it could take a bit longer to get a decision. Difficult to guess

Also another offtopic question. What documents does my wife need to take with her for the biometrics, just so we're prepared and don't waste any time in going there after they issue BIL ? ... We have to go to a USCIS office in the US, right ?

The BIL + her passport

Yes, at any USCIS Application Support Center (ASC)
