Visitor visa has not got yet applied in United States of America

Hello everyone,

My dad has US b1/b2 visa and stayed in US about two months, and I am US permanent resident. The online processing tool said it will take about 10 days, however, I submitted his application online on June 22nd, then I got message said they received my application on June 23rd. After that, it's almost been two and half weeks, I have not got any message said he either be rejected or requested passport, we plan to go Travel in four weeks, and I am worry about what is going on. Is anyone has similar situation?

Processing times stated on the IRCC website are only estimates/a courtesy. Actual processing could take much longer especially if the applicant is a visitor in the country where s/he is applying from.

You could send a Case Specific Enquiry/ web form to request for an expedited decision.

You must also allow between 10-15 business days for the visa to be stamped after the passport is submitted to the VAC/CSC
