Hi, i applied my visitor for canada abt 4 months back and still i haven't got any update... can anyone share their experience if they applied in the same month or i'm the only one getting delayed.. plz help

1. Does you sister work/has worked in the defense services, police, judiciary, or a government department?

2. Did you apply online or have you linked her paper application to her online account? If you did, what does the background check status state?

Nobody works in any of these departments. I applied online and status says, application in processing.

In that case you can send a web form/ Case Specific Enquiry and request for an expedited decision

Should i do this by email?? I tried to call indian embacy and they said they can't provide the information on call. I'm really worried.

The visa office/consulate will not respond to phone calls.

You can send both an email to the local visa office for your sister's country of residence + the web form to the same visa office. Here's the link:
