Hi Diana! I am also working in Abu Dhabi and hoping dubai police will issue PcC for us. Please let us know if it works for you. Thank you so much!

Need urgent help
I have submitted my online form of Dubai PCC. Instead of sending my residence visa page I attached copy of Emirates-id . What I can do now ?? Do I have to resubmit the form or I should wait for their reply or I can amend this ... Plz give me suggestion

On the Dubai Police website there is a online chat available can you please chat with the operator and let them know about it and ask them how can you provide the missing visa copy page that was not added by mistake ?
I had an issue with the PCC that I did not provide the EmiratesID number I noticed when I checked status of processing of my PCC request, it said no request found... I used that chat option and chatted with the agent to understand what’s the issue and they then asked me to provide the Emirates ID number which I did and it was resolved that same moment. PCC was received in 2 days time

I have lived and worked in UAE. In 2013 moved to Canada. I am now a Canadian citizen. Do I need to upload my Canadian Passport copy and Residence Visa page from the old passport which I was carrying in UAE, on their website? I don't remember Emirates ID # neither I have a Credit card issued by any GCC bank. Can someone guide me on this matter,,,please

The issue that I see is that you don’t have EmiratesID number available. I am not sure if they DP team will be able to provide you with the PCC if you place an order online.
The other way will be to get a finger printing(long form, ink based) done locally in Canada, get it notarized, then take the document to Ministry of Foreign Affairs/Global Affairs in Canada and then over to UAE embassy. Once these attestations are done send the package over to a friend in Dubai who can apply on your behalf in a Dubai Police station (best is to visit the CID office (sits just below the Al Qiyadah metro station) at DP HQ - Al Nahda Rd, Al Twar 1, Dubai

My above text It may sound complex and time consuming and more expensive. The issue that I see is that, if you apply through the DP website you “may” end up loosing AED320($117) because of the missing Emirates ID number.

I have used a Canadian CC for the payment so it works.

But I am wondering you have the citizenship why do you require a PCC from Dubai now ?

Hello Everyone,

I was in Dubai for 3 years and now I am looking to get PCC for Canadian Immigration. I am currently in Canada and bit confuse with different suggestion. Can someone guide me on how to get UAE PCC in/from canada?

Also, I dont have my UAE Card with me anymore then what should I Do?

Also, PC is valid for 3 months but then after receiving the certificate if you never traveled to UAE then why the certificate is not valid?

please reply back if anyone has information and thank you in advance.

You can follow the process which I highlighted just above in my last post.
Dubai PCC is valid for 3 months from the date of issue. They clearly mention it on there certificate.
At the max iRCC “may” ask you to provide a new PCC.

1. Go to Dubai Police Website www.dubaipolice.gov.ae
2. Go to Services -> More
3. Click On Police Clearance Certificate
4. Click Access Service
5. Select 'Outside UAE' in 'I am located?' section
6. Fill out all other information and in "Do you have Emirates ID" section, select "Yes" and then input your
Emirates ID which you used to hold while you were a resident there.
7. Upload your Passport, Photo and Residency Page Copy
8. Click Next
9. Enter your Address (Can be your current address in any country)
10. Enter Payment details. Card being used should be a GCC card.

Thats it. One the payment is submitted, you will get certificate in your email in 1-2 days. They cross-check your information using Emirates ID number.

can you tell me what you picked for "certifcate required by" field? It seems this service is available only for local requirement
