if you are not able to link it. Call the border services and fix your landing. Same thing happened to me. Officer didn't finish my landing properly

And today I found out what happened and it is my fault. When I updated my address with CIC I did not give them the apartment number. I was checking the CSE I sent them and noticed this very stupid mistake. Talking to the administration in the building when this happens they send back the mail to the sender, so my PR cards must now be back on issuing center...

Anyone knows of a similar case? I was working all day so I could not call CIC today, tomorrow my wife will try to speak with someone. I don´t know if I can just update the address and receive this card or if I have to do a Solemn Declaration that I did not receive it and wait almost 4 months for a new card...

It was a really stupid mistake, I must have checked the address like 10 times to make sure everything was ok and still forgot the apartment number. I should already have PR with me and now in the worst case I will have it only by the end of October...

Ok update on my process. I made a CSE on June 14th explaining how I had forgotten to include my apartment number on the address and that the cards had been returned by Canada Post. On June 15th my wife managed to speak with CIC, they told her they hadn´t received the cards back yet but once they did they would be resent with the correct address which she updated on both our files, but if we didn´t receive the PR cards by July 15th we would need to make the solemn declaration and the cards would need to be made again.

So this was almost 20 days ago and I was losing hope on getting the cards without the solemn declaration which would mean getting them only around October. But today I finally got an email response for my CSE telling me that my address is updated and my card should be mailed shortly and also that my wife´s card has been sent to the correct address this morning! So hopefully by early next week both cards are delivered.

I told them i couldn't get a SIN number at Serv Canada bcoz they were not able to see my information at their end and then border officer asked me the document number and then finished the landing formality successfully

Thank you. I linked my application on CIC using UCI number and application number.

Did you put the exact same place of birth as on your passport? That’s the most common issue.

Other than that, you may want to contact CIC.

Hi,

I landed on 30 Aug 2017 and my PR card application seems to have been submitted on 18 Oct 2017. Not sure why there was an almost 2 month delay.

I had some personal issues to take care of and hence couldn't reach out to IRCC until Feb 2018. Call center person said that they don't have an address for me on file although I had given them the address when I landed. They told me my photos had to be resent and the CC person emailed me about the same. I had sent 2 photos to reach them on March 15 2018. They don't seem to have received them.

I got a message to mycic account on 18 Apr 2018 to send 2 photos along with copy of COPR and copy of passport's biopage. I had sent those to reach them on 4 May 2018. I have been calling them almost every other week after, but they keep saying that I should wait.

Is there anyone else in a similar situation? If so, it will be of help if you could share your experience.
